This project was created in response to a brief that asked for a magazine concept supported by an interview with a relevant professional. I chose to design a home interiors magazine, focusing on interior aesthetics with a particular emphasis on colour theory and how different colour palettes work together in domestic spaces.
The magazine looks at how colour combinations can affect mood, how a space feels, and the overall balance of an interior. It includes selected examples of colour pairings and design ideas that help readers make more informed choices when styling their own homes.
As part of the brief, I interviewed interior designer John Darke, who has many years of experience in the industry. His professional insights helped shape the content and direction of the magazine, especially in relation to practical design decisions and how colour theory is applied in real homes. This helped make the publication more grounded in real-world practice.
Overall, the project combines visual design and research, showing my ability to present professional knowledge in a clear and visually engaging magazine format.
